Request to Ratify MEC

MEC’s work preserves Islam by providing a consistency and integrity to the field of Islamic chaplaincy that is based on diverse but authentic understandings of Qur’an and Sunnah. In this regard, we strive to manifest the Qur’anic enjoinment and Prophetic traditions of consultation and consensus as also practiced by the four rightly guided caliphs. We serve to represent the diversity within the Muslim community throughout the United States.

How it works:

Accordingly, MEC requests that Islamic centers and organization across the United States review our endorsement requirements and process ratify our work for and on behalf of the American Muslim Community and joining our directory. You may do this by completing the online form, downloading the attached Ratification Form and uploading a signed copy.

This is to attest that I have reviewed MEC’s endorsement requirements and process, and on behalf of the Islamic Center or Islamic Organization that I represent ratify MEC’s work as an endorser for and on behalf of the American Muslim Community.
With this ratification, we agree to be added to the directory of Islamic centers and organizations that mandate MEC as an endorser of Muslim Chaplains.
